This position is Remote (UK) with travel when necessary
We are looking for an IFS Technical Analyst to design and deliver technical solutions supporting our ERP platform. You will work with senior users, business analysts, and suppliers to ensure our ERP system meets the needs of our rapidly growing organization. We are looking for someone who is able to work on their own initiative with good communication and team member management ability!
Responsibility
- Understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions, considering the associated business impact of design choices and decisions.
- Collaborate with project teams and functional consultants to provide technical solutions.
- Adhere to project plans and deadlines.
- Design and develop application integration solutions.
- Design and implement Data migrations.
- To deliver and balance between BAU support and project work.
- Document technical specifications and processors as part of implementing change requests.
What the Successful Candidate Looks Like
- Very good knowledge of IFS Apps 9 technical architecture.
- Good knowledge of IFS Cloud technical architecture.
- Worked in IFS Cloud/V9 implementation projects in a technical capacity, contributing to the successful deployment and configuration of the system.
- Methodical, analytical, and systematic approach to solving problems.
- Follow company software engineering process guidelines and standard methodologies.
- Technical implementation experience of distribution, finance, or manufacturing solutions.
- Familiarity with a range of software and hardware tools used for delivering IFS solutions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to any software used by the company.
- Enthusiastic and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated ability in IFS Applications Development, including 2+ years with IFS Cloud.
- IFS Developer Studio extend on the Inside expertise.
- Custom Object development
- IFS Reports/Quick report design and development
- IFS data migration.
- Debugging and problem identification in IFS
- Strong programming skills on Oracle SQL, PL/SQL for 7+ years
- Strong enterprise application integration experience
- Excellent teammate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with end-users.
- Understanding of IFS functional areas such as Supply chain and Finance.
