Job DescriptionAbout the role:
This is the team behind the features that empowers businesses to grant custom access and set spending limits for their team members, streamlining the management of their team and business expenses. Our mission is to power small+ businesses to get more done by giving them control of their team’s global money movements.
Most recently, we’re building on the infrastructure that enables businesses to add and manage their team member’s access to the business account, empowering businesses to delegate jobs and workflows by having the flexibility to limit what their team can or can’t do. We’ve taken this even further with another project where we enabled businesses to separate how they held their money and manage each team member’s access to the funds.
How we work:
We’re a cross-functional team of backend, frontend, iOS, and Android engineers, working hand-in-hand with a Product Manager, Analyst, and Designer. Together, we deliver seamless, impactful solutions across all Wise platforms. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do—we value ownership, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to building stable, scalable systems while embracing fast-paced learning and iteration.
What you will be working on:
Developing multi-user access features and actively enhancing them as well as building end-to-end features for business account management.
QualificationsWhat do you need?
- Strong backend engineering skills
- Ability to execute based on product requirements and independently figure out solutions.
- Passion for building products and technical excellence.
- Candidates who challenge the status quo and bring passion to their work.
- Exposure to authorisation and control features would be a nice to have

- A customer-first approach—you prioritise work that solves real customer pain points and use data to drive decisions.
- The ability to take ownership of complex problems, propose solutions, and drive projects end-to-end to deliver measurable impact.
- A knack for identifying opportunities to deliver value faster and providing constructive feedback on product and design decisions.

- Strong communication skills—you can break down complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively across teams.
- A proactive mindset—you take initiative to improve our codebase, architecture, and processes.
