The role is to provide hydrocarbon accounting and gas day management services for delivery of gas and condensate across the pipeline systems feeding the Easington Terminal to the National Grid, and delivery of gas condensate to Dimlington and the jetty at Inter Terminals.

Location – Flexible / UK based

The Role

  • Proactive implementation of the commercial obligations relating to gas and condensate production and transportation
  • Produce detailed and accurate accounts using hydrocarbon accounting systems
  • Prepare and issue accurate production and allocation reports
  • Manage and support the asset operations team with restricted capacity scenarios across the pipelines and the Easington Terminal following the relevant commercial agreements
  • Work closely with the metering team to ensure visibility and resolution of any metering issues impacting the allocation and accounting of gas and condensate
  • Ensure mis-measurement reports are raised by the metering team and apply within the hydrocarbon accounting systems in a timely manner
  • Provide suggestions and improvements to allocation & reporting procedures and systems
  • Work with key support contractors such as Energysys to ensure maximum up time of critical hydrocarbon accounting and commercial operation systems

The Person

  • Experience in commercial production management
  • Hydrocarbon accounting and gas production commercial management experience
  • Experience and understanding of upstream oil & gas production operations
  • Considerable IS skills in the use of Windows, Microsoft applications including Excel, hydrocarbon accounting software and PI
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, building relationships internally and externally
