IMO Health is a clinical data intelligence business improving how data is used across the healthcare landscape. This position follows a hybrid work model, with three days onsite (Tuesday through Thursday) at our Rosemont HQ, Chicago, or Houston office.
As an HR Intern, you will work closely with the People & Culture team to support daily operations and gain exposure to multiple areas of human resources. Your responsibilities will include assisting in recruitment, employee onboarding, HR administration, and supporting HR projects to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support new employee onboarding processes, including preparing materials and conducting orientations.
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations for management.
- Help coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Answer employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and company programs.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
What You'll Need:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
