ADI now have a new opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our team based from our International Head Office in Oldham, Manchester.

The HR Business Partner is a key role in our organisation, providing comprehensive HR support across our operations. As a strategic partner to local leadership, you will play a pivotal role in aligning people initiatives with business objectives, driving organisational effectiveness, and fostering a high-performing and positive work culture.

This role is ideally suited to someone who understands business as well as HR. You will build strong relationships with leaders across a matrix organisation, partnering closely with both the business and HR Centres of Excellence to deliver practical people solutions that support organisational goals. You will be comfortable operating strategically whilst remaining hands-on, working proactively to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive actions through to completion.


JOB DUTIES

  • Partner with local leadership teams to understand business objectives, organisational dynamics, workforce challenges, and talent needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on a wide range of HR matters including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Work closely with leaders to develop and implement people plans that support business priorities and organisational growth.
  • Collaborate with global HR teams and Centres of Excellence to ensure consistency and alignment of HR policies, programmes, and initiatives across regions while addressing local requirements.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, helping leaders navigate change and effectively manage team transitions.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention efforts through effective communication, feedback mechanisms, and initiatives tailored to local business needs.
  • Lead or support various HR projects and initiatives across the business.
  • Proactively identify HR trends, issues, and opportunities and develop strategies to address them in partnership with local leadership.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring adherence to relevant legal requirements and company policies.
  • Support the recruitment process for key roles within the region, working closely with hiring managers to identify talent needs, source candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate the selection process.
  • Analyse HR metrics and data to assess the effectiveness of HR programmes and initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance organisational performance.
  • Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Progressive HR experience, including business partnering roles supporting multiple regions or countries.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation, partnering effectively with leaders and specialist HR teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, talent development, organisational change, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives through to completion.
  • Proven ability to drive HR initiatives and projects from concept to implementation, with a focus on delivering measurable results and continuous improvement.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an HR qualification such as CIPD.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting commercial and support functions within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally.
