  • Leading our third party partners and internal HCD design teams from briefing to end delivery
  • Shaping HCD design and research briefs, making sure that our new experiences are of the highest quality, meeting both user and business objectives
  • Embedding user experience best practices across our community of experience and journey managers, creating and improving guidelines, driving consistency and ensuring the benefits are understood
  • Coaching and mentoring our teams, building HCD knowledge and advocacy of good user experience and design

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with experience working in a digital role focused on user experience or design. Ideally, you'll come from a background in a design-related discipline, such as product design, user research, interaction design, graphic design or digital optimisation.

  • An understanding of the business, market trends, customer needs and the operational strategies that contribute to business success
  • Experience of working with agencies and third parties, from briefing to delivery
  • The ability to solve problems, understand issues and identify opportunities with the customer in mind throughout
  • Experience of working with large scale digital estates and a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent influencing and storytelling skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback to a variety of stakeholders at different levels
