What Part Will You Play?

Supports and maintains two or more modules of the organizations Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Workday, by engaging with functional HR stakeholders and users to ensure the HRIS is meeting organizational needs.

Collaborates with functional stakeholders and leaders to advise on opportunities to leverage Workday to meet organizational needs. Monitors system performance and collaborates with technical staff to coordinate complex configuration and testing requirements. Maintain complex tables and documents processes and testing. Researches and resolves complex HRIS problems, unexpected errors or process flaws; performs scheduled activities; implements solutions to meet requirements.

Writes, maintains and supports a broad range of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools including Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics. Monitors interface reports. Develops ad hoc reports, as assigned, in addition to moderately complex reports for ongoing stakeholder needs, and scheduling. Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data and correcting data, as needed.

Maintains and updates established user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains users on existing processes/functionality. Serves as a training lead for Workday.

Maintains awareness of stakeholder request/current user trends for Workday with a focus on delivery, partnership and support. Examines trends and techniques to assist in the development of configuration design requirements and specifications.

Drives the development and improvement of business processes by collecting and analyzing business requirements, evaluating data collected through task analysis or business process, preparing detailed requirement/functional specifications documents, developing and executing test scripts and test scenarios. Provides recommendations during the development stages. Monitors change requests related to the working project plans to meet the identified deadline and objectives.

What Are We Looking for in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
  • Four (4) years of progressive experience administering one or more Human Resource Information System (HRIS) such as SAP Success Factors and Workday.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in lieu of education requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong preference for Workday administration experience, in particular the administration of its Security, HCM, Compensation, and/or Payroll features.

  • Skills / Knowledge - A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of Workday to include its Security Administration feature and its modules to include one or more of the following: HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Prism Analytics and Absence Management; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.
  • Job Complexity - Works on problems of diverse and complex scopes where analysis of the problem and data requires evaluation of variable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Collaborates with a broad base of colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Supervision - Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, assignments are given in broad objectives. Must be self-managed.
  • Customer Service – Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively engage/interact with our internal Workday stakeholders as well as users to educate and resolve issues.
  • HRIS knowledge – Strong administrative knowledge of two or more Workday modules.
  • Technical Ability – Ability to effectively navigate and administer multiple Workday modules, as well as Google Workspace.
  • Project Management Experience – Strong project management skills to include projects that are considered semi-complex to complex.
