Lead end-to-end UK recruiting and onboarding, manage HR operations and employee admin, support people development and employer branding, build university relations, and scale HR processes in a growing healthcare business.
We are a fast-growing European healthcare company operating at the intersection of medical cannabis, digital health, and regulated healthcare services. With a strong, profitable core business in Europe and a proven operational backbone, we are now building our UK platform — and we're looking for the right people to grow with us.
Our UK team is at an exciting early stage. That means real ownership, real impact, and the chance to shape how we work from day one.
Tasks
What You'll Work On
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
* Own and drive end-to-end recruiting: job postings, candidate management, interviews, and active sourcing across functions
* Coordinate external recruiters and staffing partners where needed
* Manage and continuously improve our onboarding process so new team members hit the ground running
People Development
* Organise and track regular employee check-ins and performance conversations
* Support the planning and delivery of workshops, training, and coaching initiatives
* Help design and evaluate internal surveys to keep a pulse on team health
HR Operations & Administration
* Handle day-to-day HR admin: contract management, HR data maintenance, and preparation for payroll
* Be the go-to contact for employees on operational HR questions
* Support the UK Managing Director with organisational and administrative tasks — from scheduling and coordination to keeping things running smoothly in a lean team
Employer Branding & University Relations
* Drive employer branding initiatives that make us a recognisable name in the UK talent market
* Build connections with universities and organise campus-facing activities to grow our talent pipeline
Looking ahead: As the UK team grows, so will this role. There's real scope to take on broader HR strategy, build out a team, and shape what HR at UK looks like long-term.
Requirements
What You Bring
* A degree or vocational qualification in HR, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related field
* Solid hands-on experience in recruiting and HR operations, ideally in a fast-paced or scaling environment
* Confidence with MS Office; experience with HR tools like Personio or applicant tracking systems (e.g. join.com) is a plus
* Strong communication and organisational skills — you stay structured even when things are moving fast
* Discretion with sensitive data and a genuine service mindset towards employees and candidates
* Enthusiasm for employer branding, university marketing, and building a culture people want to be part of
* A builder's mindset: you're energised by the blank page, not intimidated by it
Benefits
What We Offer
* A genuine opportunity to build something from the ground up — not just fill a seat in an existing structure
* Close collaboration with experienced, entrepreneurial founders and leadership
* Real ownership and autonomy from day one
* A dynamic, international team with a mission that matters
* Competitive compensation and flexibility in how and where you work
