This role will support a strategic uplift of Boku’s HR technology and data capabilities during a 12-month transformation period. Working closely with a dedicated IT engineer, the HR Systems and Analytics Consultant will review whether the current HRIS (Bamboo HR)is fit for purpose and, if necessary, lead a vendor review and RFP process. Should a new system be selected, they will be responsible for project managing the migration and implementation. The role also ensures that our HRIS is fully integrated, supports process efficiency, and reduces manual interventions in HR operations—ultimately enabling the HR Shared Services team to operate more efficiently. A key outcome of the role is to improve the quality and accessibility of data and support data driven decisions, effective communications and change management to ensure a smooth transition for managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

HR Systems and Integration:

  • Review and assess whether the current HRIS is fit for purpose, aligned to business needs and future growth
  • Lead the end-to-end RFP process if a new system is required, including requirements gathering, vendor selection, and evaluation
  • Project manage the implementation and migration to a new HRIS if selected, including planning, testing, rollout, and change communications
  • Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors to deliver a scalable and secure integration strategy
  • Oversee data migration, testing, configuration, and rollout of system enhancements
  • Ensure system stability and functionality across key processes including onboarding, payroll, performance, and compensation

Process Optimisation and Efficiency:

  • Review and document current HR processes to identify automation opportunities
  • Implement workflow solutions that reduce manual work and support future scaling
  • Monitor system usage and adoption, and adjust configurations to ensure continuous improvement
  • Partner with HR Shared Services to embed improvements that reduce future workload

Data, Reporting and Analytics:

  • Design and deliver HR dashboards and reports for People and business leaders
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of people data in line with compliance requirements
  • Establish best practice data governance and promote data literacy across HR
  • Develop tools that allow self-service access to key HR metrics

Change and Communication:

  • Create communications and user guides to support managers and employees through system and process changes
  • Lead training sessions and drop-in support clinics to ensure user confidence
  • Work collaboratively with Internal Communications and HRBPs to tailor messaging appropriately
  • Provide feedback and insights from stakeholders to inform future improvements
Measures of Success
  • HRIS fully integrated with key systems and stable in daily operation
  • Reduction in manual HR processes and Shared Services workload
  • Increased adoption and satisfaction with HR systems across the business
  • Timely and relevant people data available for decision-making
  • Successful change management and clear communication across the business
Key Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated experience delivering HRIS improvements and integrations (e.g. HiBob, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and process design
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI or similar tools
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance in an HR context
  • Proactive communicator with a user-focused approach to change
  • Comfortable collaborating across HR, IT, and external vendors
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in fast-growing or international businesses preferred
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent experience in HR, Information Systems, or related field (desirable)
  • Certifications in HRIS systems, data analytics or project management (desirable)
