Job Title: HR Specialist, Human Resources

Location: London, United Kingdom Level: P3

Job Purpose: The role of the HR Specialist will be to support the ClarusONE Head of HR to deliver its overarching people strategy, ensuring we have the right processes, tools and capabilities to deliver against our business goals and objectives. The role will report to the Head of HR and will be required to work closely across all business functions in the organisation. Fundamental to the role will be the ability to collaborate and partner effectively with the HR teams at McKesson and Walmart, ensuring there is consistency and aligned ways of working to support the ClarusONE colleagues. The HR Specialist will have predominantly operational responsibilities and will support with a range of HR related activity such as resource planning, training and development, engagement survey action planning, employee relations, people data management and policy execution. They will support with the development, roll out and ongoing management of the HR information system (HRIS). They will be an active support on our engagement survey workstreams working with people leaders and associates from across the organisation. This is a high-exposure role with plenty of opportunity to demonstrate skills and capabilities to senior leadership within ClarusONE, but also across McKesson and Walmart, and should appeal to those who would be energised in this environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with Walmart and McKesson HR Operations teams, ClarusONE Business Leaders and the Executive Assistant team on effective onboarding of all new starters to ClarusONE, ensuring a seamless experience. Duties include liaising with Leaders on a joined-up induction plan, supporting with HR onboarding activity such as employee set up in the ClarusONE HRIS and Member systems if needed, liaising with relevant Member org on payroll/benefit enrolment, as relevant.

• Support with both the setup and ongoing maintenance of the ClarusONE HRIS in partnership with Head of HR ensuring data is kept up to date, onboarding and offboarding associates and liaising with the system provider on any new module implementations required, adhering to data compliance at all times.

• Partner Head of HR to suggest new processes and models to automate manual HR processes leveraging HRIS and/or other tools so that value-add activity can be prioritised.

• Support with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements including Headcount and Employee Turnover reports, and absenteeism reporting, ensuring accurate data and timely submission.

• First point of contact for employee queries ranging from benefit renewals, policy queries, recruitment and contractual issues, collaborating with Member HR teams as appropriate to obtain speedy resolution.

• Conduct exit interviews for junior leavers at ClarusONE and report to Head of HR any themes and/or points of escalation as appropriate

• Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees and managers that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters, working in partnership with the HR Operations team as relevant.

• Support Head of HR with organisational design work responding to evolving business needs and setting ClarusONE up for ongoing success.

• Support Head of HR with quarterly and annual performance calibration process ensuring clear timelines, meeting organisation and support materials are prepared.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition team on recruitment efforts for new and open roles in the business, ensuring up to date job descriptions are provided, clarity of interview process and hiring managers are clear on budgetary requirements for Headcount.

• Partner with Legal team on setting up new HR suppliers/vendors as necessary ensuring terms of business are executed.

• Support Head of HR in set up of annual engagement survey collaborating with external provider and working to a strict project plan and comms schedule.

• Support with Annual Engagement Survey Action plan playing an integral role to support traction of the company wide plan.

• Support with the design and delivery of internal training initiatives as relevant and maintain training tracker/record within HRIS.

• Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company, partnering with HR Operations team as relevant.

• Keep abreast of Employment law changes and partner with Legal and HR Operations teams on any updates that are required to current policy suite.

• Promote Equality, Diversity and Health and Safety within the company. Represent HR in the ClarusONE Health and Safety Committee.

Requirements:

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field • Proven success working in an HR department

• Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of HRIS software including WorkDay and HiBob or similar - advantageous

Knowledge/Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of HRI systems and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary

• Good level of digital literacy and ability to use AI and other tools to streamline and support people processes

• Employment law knowledge and the ability to balance risk with commercial outcomes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.

• Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
