About the role

We are looking for a process-driven HR Operations professional who is passionate about building scalable, automated, and data-driven employee services. At Appier, we don't just 'do' operations; we constantly rethink them. This role is designed for someone who enjoys navigating complex logic and is excited to transform HR tasks into high-quality, standardized workflows.

Can be based out of UK, SG, TW, EMEA. You will be a key member of the Employee Experience (HR Ops) team. While you will serve as our internal expert for Global Mobility and Immigration, your mission extends to the entire employee lifecycle. You will work side-by-side with the team to audit and refine core HR processes—from onboarding and data management to offboarding—ensuring they are compliant, efficient, and ready for global scale.

We are looking for a "builder" mindset: someone who isn't satisfied with the status quo and thrives on using technology to reduce manual work. Whether you are solving a complex visa case or optimizing our HRIS workflow, your goal is to deliver a seamless, reliable experience for all Appiers.

Key Responsibilities1. Global Mobility & Immigration Excellence
  • End-to-End Mobility Management: Own work authorization and relocation processes for international hires and internal transfers, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strategic Coordination: Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and Legal to assess the feasibility, risks, and timelines for first-time or new-entity cases.
  • Employee Journey: Serve as the primary point of contact for mobile employees, providing clear guidance and managing expectations to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Vendor Management: Manage immigration vendors and service providers, tracking case quality, invoicing, and internal payment processes.
2. Core HR Operations & Lifecycle Support
  • Employee Lifecycle Delivery: Collaborate with the team to support general onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring all cross-border requirements and local Taiwan compliance are seamlessly integrated.
  • HR Service Delivery: Act as a reliable partner for employee inquiries, providing timely support (e.g., certificates, benefits, intern management)) and maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity for payroll and statutory reporting.
  • Global Standardization: Work alongside HR colleagues to ensure that mobility workflows align with the team’s broader goals of automation and standardized service delivery.
3. Process Optimization & Knowledge Management
  • Scalable Documentation:Build and maintain a robust HR knowledge base, including country-specific requirements, SOPs, and internal guidelines to support team scalability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Audit existing workflows to identify manual bottlenecks; collaborate with the team to automate routine tasks using HRIS tools or AI, moving from manual execution to systematic delivery.
About YouCore Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, Global Mobility, or International HR. Experience in a fast-paced tech or scaling environment is highly preferred.
  • Operational Excellence: High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over data accuracy and process compliance.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and first-time cases by proposing structured and scalable solutions.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships (internal and external) in English and Mandarin.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with HRIS and data; an interest in using automation tools to reduce manual workloads.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Overseas HR experience or direct collaboration with cross-border stakeholders.
  • Experience in vendor management or coordinating complex logistical projects.
