The HR site manager is responsible for supporting the business success of our London site by being fully dedicated to its people, their roles and needs. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle. The HR Site Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, driving site and company wide HR initiatives, and ensuring alignment with global HR policies while adapting to local business and compliance needs.

The HR site manager will work closely with the CTO of the Company and the Director of Operations as well as additional senior managers in the London office, along with partnering with global divisional HR Business Partners located remotely.

What you will be doing

  • Own the HR activities of our London site, including the employee lifecycle, onboarding and offboarding and efforts related to employee performance, retention and engagement, internal communication, and other HR initiatives. 
  • Serve as the primary HR contact, providing support and guidance to employees and managers and partnering with other members of the G&A team such as talent acquisition and payroll.
  • Work closely with Lightricks’ CTO and the site’s Director of Operations, to align HR activities with business goals and local operational needs. 
  • Partner with the HR team at our HQ in Israel and other sites to strengthen alignment and foster a cohesive global culture.
  • Partner with departmental HRBP’s to implement the departmental HR processes and best practices within the London site.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and practices. Provide guidance on local policies, employment contracts, performance issues, disciplinary and grievance matters, handling in accordance with UK legislation.
  • Ensure seamless communication within the site and between the London site and HQ. 
  • Work with members of management to assess and plan the people needs for our London site, including hiring and retention of top talent.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative employee data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve the experience of our employees.
  • Feel the pulse of the site and bring innovative solutions in the realm of employee experience, and put them into action.

Your skills and experience

  • 5-6 years of HRBP/ HR site manager experience in fast growing high-tech companies. Ideally within the technology or high-growth sectors.
  • Experience working in an international environment and collaborating with global HR teams. 
  • Knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS platforms, ensuring accurate employee records and compliance.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, a team player.
  • High level of independence and ability to lead without authority.
  • Data-oriented with strong research and analysis abilities.
  • Creative problem solver and decision maker.
  • Proven ability to coach leaders and motivation to work in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Experience with immigration policies and processes - advantage.
