Job Purpose:

Support the Europe division across core generalist HR areas, including employee relations, performance, culture, onboarding, and coordination of local hiring needs. Partner closely with managers and the European HR team to ensure consistent people practices, support compliance with employment law, and contribute to the division’s broader people strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day employee relations matters across European markets (e.g. performance, absence, exits), escalating more complex cases as needed.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and coordinate local recruitment efforts, including managing agency relationships where relevant.
  • Lead and improve onboarding experiences to ensure consistency, engagement, and operational smoothness across jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with the HR Operations team to streamline and improve people processes for efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide insights through people data to support divisional priorities such as culture, engagement, and performance.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of European employment law and a willingness to deepen expertise in employee relations.
  • Experience coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes across multiple countries.
  • Strong communication, data driven, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience in financial services or professional services environments
  • CIPD or relevant HR qualification
  • Proficiency in HR systems and additional European languages
