PRIMARY DUTIES

  • First line people support and owner of the HR mailbox supporting colleagues across EMEA & UK Retail. Responsible for answering queries timely or escalating to the relevant partners/departments if necessary
  • Responsible for all administration surrounding new starters and leavers – including role approvals, issuing of contracts and processing all joiner and leaver information in Workday and with the relevant stakeholders, such as payroll/finance/IT
  • Support the induction/on-boarding of new starters, working with the relevant departments and HR Business Partner to provide a seamless employee experience
  • Owner our maternity processing for UK retail. Partnering with OH, Payroll & Leadership to ensure all our maternity leavers are fully supported throughout
  • Responsible for employee relation cases within the UK, from note taking to running formal processes. Working with the relevant HR Business Partner where necessary to provide timely and compliant resolution
  • Support on HR communications to the wider business, generating content for Wolverine’s intranet (WeConnect) and ensuring up-to-date versions of all relevant people forms, policies and useful information are available
  • Partnering with Centres of Excellence to create process improvement and collaboration across the wider HR team– Payroll, HR Service Centre, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards.
  • Collate monthly payroll amendments and queries to be actioned by our Payroll team.
  • Coach managers/employees as appropriate.
  • Work with HR Business Partners/HR Director on HR projects as appropriate
  • Embrace company Vision, Mission & Values and be an ambassador for them within the business
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested
