Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be a strategic partner to the business, aligning people strategies with organisational goals. The role provides expert guidance across all areas of human resources, enabling leaders to build high-performing, engaged, and compliant teams
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering:
Partner with business leaders to understand priorities and translate them into people strategies
Provide insight and challenge on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
Support delivery of business objectives through effective people interventions
Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on complex people matter
Talent & Workforce Planning:
Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews
Identify critical capability gaps and support targeted hiring strategies
Drive retention strategies for key and high-potential talent
Support development of future-ready capability within the organisation
Employee Relations & Case Management
Manage complex employee relations cases
Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes in line with our company policies
Coach managers on handling people issues and risk mitigation
Performance & Reward
Support performance management processes
Partner with Compensation & Benefits on our reward strategies and processes
Engagement & Culture
Analyse engagement survey results and drive action planning
Coach leaders to improve employee experience and engagement
Champion inclusion, STEM, community and wellbeing initiatives
Work closely with COEs (C&B, TA, L&D) to develop high performing teams

Essential
Strong HR Business Partnering experience
CIPD qualified (level 5 or 7)
Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders
Strong influencing, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing complex employee relations issues
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and provide insight
Deep understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
Desirable
Experience in high-tech / engineering or matrix organisations
Experience supporting organisational transformation or growth
