Overview – Weybourne
Who we are: Established in 2013, Weybourne is the family office for a single ultra-high net worth family. Weybourne Group is the holding company of the main operating business and manages a diverse range of other investments and provides financial and other professional support services to the family, their estates and wider business interests. The business interests cover a wide range of sectors, including farming, aviation, property, music and several others.
Where we are: Weybourne Group are headquartered in Singapore, with United Kingdom offices in Malmesbury and London. This role is based in the Weybourne Office in Malmesbury with attendance in the Dodington Park Estate Office on two days per week, and regular travel to Ballynatray in Ireland as required. The role will require regular coordination across all group offices and may also at times require travel to other Weybourne locations and family entities both in the UK and abroad.
Overview – HR
This is a truly generalist HR team consisting of a Head of HR and HR Assistant as well as a wider HR team who sit within the group. The team supports a diverse range of businesses owned by the Dyson family including an investment arm, transport companies, estate management and smaller businesses in, for example, retail and music. Employee numbers total approximately 400 across 15 different entities of varying sizes. The HR team support across the full HR lifecycle including recruitment, reward, learning and development and ER.
Reporting to the Head of HR (UK based) the HR Business Partner will provide support across the portfolio of businesses, and particularly Dodington Park Estate (DPE), and Ballynatray in Ireland.
Requirements
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop effective on-going relationships across the portfolio and within the Group. Responding to queries directly and influencing managers to follow a best-practice approach wherever possible.
- Deliver expert operational HR support, including direct support to the Dodington Park and Ballynatray Estates.
- Act as the initial point of escalation for ER issues.
- Supporting the Head of HR, HR Assistant with the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Where HR policies, procedures and practices do not exist take an active role in identifying and delivering content. Where they do exist, work with the Head of HR and HR Assistant to set up a process to review and implement changes in line with legislation.
- Coach, train and challenge managers on their approach to people issues, advising them on best practice approaches.
- Be an active part of the annual performance and salary review cycle for a defined group of customers.
- Encourage managers to complete regular 1:1s, mid-year reviews and personal development discussions.
- Support as a HR lead in the performance management of individuals and other employee relations situations (e.g. capability concerns, disciplinary scenarios, grievances).
- Support the Head of HR in the planning and implementation of organisational changes, HR projects and initiatives that support the people strategy and individual business plans.
- This role will also support the implementation of a new, organisation-wide HR system over the course of 2026.
- Manage the relationship with the benefits providers and lead on benefit renewal cycles.
- Produce monthly HR reports and insights for the Head of HR.
- Talent Development – Support the Head of HR in driving the talent review process, working with managers to create individual development and succession plans to improve the capability of the teams.
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships across the company and other family office entities.
- Commitment to developing yourself within your role – undergoing training where necessary.
- Proactively promoting and maintaining high standards work – taking initiative to resolve and/or draw attention to areas that don’t meet required standards or any issues that arise.

Person specification / Core Competencies:
- Strong generalist HR experience including managing complex ER case work.
- Skilled in providing pragmatic, tailored HR advice based on excellent understanding of UK and Irish employment legislation.
- Experience of supporting managers with any queries related to the employee lifecycle, including the effective handling of absence and Occupational Health cases, demonstrating commitment to due diligence and accurate recording keeping.
- Experience of collating and analysing data and providing management information and making recommendations to improve business performance.
- Chartered member of the CIPD attending regular Continued Professional Development and evidence of applying learning to the business context thus achieving measurable positive change.
- Excellent personal planning and organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
- Highly efficient with MS Office, particularly Excel to an advanced standard, including V-lookups. Highly experienced in HR Information Systems, including their configuration and implementation.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality and a pragmatic, solution-focused approach.
- Confident communication and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals from a range of backgrounds and communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.
- Proactive and flexible approach to work and the willingness to go beyond the basic requirements of the role to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks and accountability for delivering them.
