Overview of Role

The role holder, based in London, will be responsible for supporting the Global Head of Five Arrows HR, based in Paris, on key HR processes, on providing operational support on day -to- day people matters and in the successful delivery of HR activities at all stages of the employee lifecycle for the London Five Arrows employees.

The role holder will also be expected to work with the wider HR team through participating in HR projects and programs globally.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Induction

  • Work in co-ordination with the recruitment team and Global Head of Five Arrows HR to provide support for the recruitment and selection process. This will include working with the hiring manager to prepare offers, manage the onboarding and integration of new employees

Employee Relations

  • Support the Global Head of Five Arrows HR to resolve employee relations issues by providing guidance to key stakeholders and keep accurate records of events, including note taking where required

  • Support for investigations for disciplinary and grievance processes

  • Assist with the drafting of correspondence relating to formal processes

  • Assist with the management of long term absences and occupational health cases

  • Ensure that the HR system is updated in regard to any changes to hours, employee information etc within the required deadlines

Performance Review and Compensation Processes

  • Support the Global Head of Five Arrows HR in the annual performance review and compensation processes

  • Assist with departmental calibration meetings, including collation and reporting of performance  and collation of relevant materials and note taking

Mobility

  • Support the Global Head of Five Arrows  HR and the mobility team, assisting with joiner visa applications, including drafting of job descriptions and associated administrative documents and procedures.

Leavers

  • Manage the leaver process

  • Ensure all exit instructions and relevant communications to internal and external departments are executed in a timely manner

Miscellaneous

  • Work alongside HRIS to develop and maintain HR Dashboard, monthly reports and people data

  • Support on HR projects in line with the overall HR strategy

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Strong foundation of at least 4-5 years’ experience within a HR generalist role, ideally within financial services

  • Hands-on approach, strong generalist experience

  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy are essential.

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Excellent IT skills - Excel, PowerPoint in particular

  • Strong written English communication skills

  • Excellent inter-personal skills – to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels (both internally and externally)

  • Self-motivated, proactive and delivery focused.

  • Must be able to work independently.

  • Ability to manage several simultaneous activities and prioritise workload.

  • Flexible and professional approach
