Hello, we’re IG Group, a FTSE 250 Fintech that provides cutting-edge mobile, web and desktop platforms that help our clients trade Stocks & Shares, leveraged products, Futures & Options and Crypto.

We are ambitious. Over 340,000 people already use our platforms. We’re global with offices in 18 countries and products in 16 regions. We’re hungry to move faster, ship better products for our customers and grow our user base. We believe in high autonomy, and we want people who are looking to do things differently in order to create better experiences for our customers.

We work in cross-functional teams and are laser-focused on increasing the number of active clients we serve to drive sustainable growth.

Your team

The HR Business Partner function within IG is integrated with the individual business units and acts as an extension of the central People function, with Heads of HR positioned within each of our functions and reporting directly to the Exco member that leads each.  In this newly created role, the HR Business Partner would be part of a small team (comprising of an HR Consultant, and Talent Acquisition Partner) that works alongside and supports the Head of HR for our Core Functions (Finance, Risk & People), with responsibility for their own client group and senior leadership.

  • Use people's data to drive decision-making. Analyse workforce metrics and trends to provide data-driven recommendations

  • Collaborate with global HR colleagues to continuously improve key HR processes, and communicate and embed self-service with leaders and managers

What you’ll need for this role

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into people priorities

  • Outstanding relationship-building, communication and presentation skills

  • Significant progressive HR experience, including as an HR Business Partner

  • Experience driving cultural transformation and building high-performance teams

  • Proven track record of coaching senior leaders and influencing organizational change

  • Excellence in project management and ability to manage multiple competing priorities

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics to drive decision-making

  • Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements

Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking and business partnership

  • Change management and organisational development

  • Leadership coaching and development

  • Problem-solving and analytical ability

  • Influencing and relationship-building
