You’ll work as part of a collaborative HRBP team, partnering closely with senior leaders and the wider People Function to deliver consistent, people-first support across the business.

In this role, you’ll balance strategic HR partnering with hands-on delivery, shaping people strategies that drive performance and growth while also acting as a trusted, accessible HR contact for your stakeholder groups. You’ll support leaders and managers across the full employee lifecycle, ensure HR processes are followed with rigour, and contribute to cross-functional People projects that enhance the employee experience and ways of working across our UK population.

What you’ll be doing:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Advise on organisational design, workforce and succession planning in line with the wider HRBP community.

Operational HR Support & Manager Enablement

  • Act as the primary HR contact for your stakeholder groups, providing pragmatic, commercially-minded advice across the employee lifecycle.

  • Coach and support managers on HR policies, processes and best practice, ensuring consistency and confident decision-making.

  • Work closely with HR Assistants and wider HR Teams (Talent, Reward, HRIS, Payroll & Benefits) to ensure accurate documentation, strong governance and compliant delivery.

Employee Relations

  • Lead on ER matters, from day-to-day cases through to more complex and sensitive issues.

  • Provide balanced legal, commercial and cultural guidance to minimise risk and resolve issues effectively.

  • Build manager capability to address people issues early and appropriately.

Engagement, Culture & Change

  • Drive initiatives that enhance engagement and strengthen the employee experience.

  • Support engagement surveys and listening activity, translating insight into meaningful action.

  • Partner with leaders and the Change Team to deliver organisational change with clarity, care and impact.

Insight-Led Improvement & HR Projects

  • Use people data and insight to inform decisions, spot trends and recommend targeted interventions.

  • Contribute to and lead UK People projects that improve ways of working, capability and consistency.

  • Collaborate across the People Function to continuously evolve our HR service and employee experience.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and proven experience managing complex and sensitive ER cases.

  • Ability to coach, influence and challenge senior stakeholders to achieve better outcomes.

  • A commercial, strategic mindset with the ability to translate business priorities into people plans.

  • Strong analytical skills, using data and insights to inform decisions and measure impact.

  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, with a track record of improving engagement, inclusion and culture.

  • A deep understanding of DE&I and a commitment to building equitable, inclusive workplaces.

  • Confidence working with systems and digital tools, and an openness to exploring how AI can enhance our ways of working.

  • Experience supporting organisational change, ideally within a matrixed or evolving environment.

  • Experience in retail, consumer goods or fashion. (Desirable)

  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors, Teamtailor, Qualtrics and people analytics tools. (Desirable)
