We are currently looking for a passionate and proactive HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our London office on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building strong relationships with leaders and employees, and bring a people-centric approach to their work.

What you'll do

As a HRBP at Minute Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, supporting our leadership , and driving HR initiatives that align with our values. While your primary focus will be supporting our UK team, you will also provide global HR support to our teams in Europe, Brazil, and Canada. In this role, you will work closely with leaders across various functions and contribute to all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee experience, personal development, performance management, pay, benefits and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, aligning the people's agenda with company goals.
  • Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and managers across the UK, Europe, Brazil, and Canada on all people-related matters.
  • Serve as a coach and trusted adviser, empowering managers and employees to embrace self-service and continuous improvement.
  • Offer expert advice on employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment law and mitigating risks.
  • Partner with the broader HR team to implement key initiatives, serving as the local point of contact.
  • Champion wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace



Requirements

What you'll have



  • 3+ years of experience in a similar HRBP role, with hands-on recruitment experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK and Canadian employment law and the ability to apply it effectively in a business context.
  • Proven experience partnering with leaders and key stakeholders to influence business outcomes.
  • Previous experience working in a global organisation and managing cross-time zone collaborations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Highly organised with excellent prioritisation and follow-up capabilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with employment practices in British Columbia or Ontario.
