Job Description
As an HR Business Advisor, you will play a crucial role in executing strategic HR priorities and supporting senior leaders across Corporate LOBs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a Center of Excellence/Shared Service construct, providing support to senior HR Business Advisors and managers on core HR activities.
As an HR Business Advisor in the firmwide HR Business Advisor organization, you will work closely with managers at varying levels to execute strategic priorities set by senior leaders. You will provide support to senior HR Business Advisors and senior managers, helping them engage with HR specialists to resolve HR-related matters. Reporting to the HR Business Advisor Lead, you will support Senior Leaders and Leaders across Corporate LOBs.
Job Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of people agenda initiatives and efforts for a business area.
  • Provide day-to-day advice on human capital matters.
  • Advise business leadership and cascade structuring & re-organizational changes into LOB areas.
  • Support the year-end compensation process, ensuring accuracy and synchronization with finance and business management.
  • Partner with leaders on performance and talent management cycles, including succession planning and promotion processes.
  • Facilitate feedback processes and employee input initiatives, such as action plans based on Employee Opinion Surveys.
  • Support individualized development and coaching for managers and emerging leaders.
  • Provide front-line support for HR risk/controls initiatives.
  • Utilize MIS and reporting to understand trends and facilitate metrics-driven client decisions.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place for all critical HR processes.
  • Lead and/or participate in HR projects aligned with key HR priorities.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Human Resource experience (previous HR Business Advisor experience preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree desired.
  • Knowledge of full range of people practices in a business setting.
  • Project management abilities, including execution skills and end-to-end process improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and technical skills.
  • Ability to navigate a global matrix organization and partner on issues across HR and the business.
  • Proven track record in coaching employees and management through complex issues.
  • Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience in promoting partnership and fostering teamwork across teams and regions.
