Here at Daimler Truck UK Ltd, we are excited to offer an exciting HR Apprentice opportunity.

This is an entry level role into HR with a salary of 20k, depending on any previous experience. The role is based in Milton Keynes.

We are currently only able to accept applications from those with a current right to in the United Kingdom. Whilst we operate an agile working approach.

About you:

You will have started your working career and have gained some experience in administration and with a keen focus on customer service, but want to retrain in the specific field of HR, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role:

This role is perfect for gaining a broad understanding of the Human Resources function through both day-to day activities, as well as via involvement in some key HR projects.

With objectives put in place, this role will give you the opportunity to put your academic learning directly into the workplace.

Working within our HR department, your day to day will be varied, including:

  • Using our HR systems and assisting in maintaining accurate employee records, handling administrative tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.
  • Supporting our company car related admin processes, including assisting colleagues with inquiries related to cars and to provide guidance where appropriate.
  • Being able to answer employee queries relating to existing polices, benefits and procedures and provide relevant HR information to the business.
  • Providing administrative support to the HR Team as required, including supporting reporting, invoicing, attending our team meetings and contributing to discussions.

This is just an example of the topics you will will learn.

You will build relationships and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders from employees to line manager, and to external partners.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Existing work experience in an office or operational environment (min of 3 years)
  • Ambitious and eager to learn and develop a career in HR
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail
  • Interest in HR and organizational development
  • Be proactive, organised, and able to work under pressure
  • Customer orientated
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • GSCE Level 4/C in Maths and English
