Are you an experienced HR Advisor ready to take ownership and make a real impact in a growing, medium-sized company? Joining our small HR team, you will play a key role in supporting around 200 employees across the organisation. You’ll be pivotal in ensuring that we deliver efficient and effective HR support and that our HR practices are effective, impactful, and aligned with our business goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and take ownership of all HR administrative processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
- Coach and advise junior managers on employee relations (ER) matters, including absence management, performance management and flexible working
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
- Improve HR operational processes through continuous innovation and efficiency
- Support recruitment efforts, from coordination and interviews to onboarding
- Stay informed about upcoming legislative changes and assist in updating and aligning policies and processes
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor role, ideally in a medium-sized organisation
- Experience of owning employee relations cases, including absence management, performance management and flexible working
- Experience of supporting HR processes and recruitment activities end-to-end
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to support stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive and analytical mindset to tackle problems and improve processes
- The ability to work autonomously, handling sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- A CIPD qualification (or working towards one) would be an advantage
