Frontier Economics is an economics consultancy that tackles the big questions facing governments, businesses and society. We help our clients to analyse and understand their markets and to formulate strategies based on sound economics. The methods and models we use are often complex, but our advice is always succinct, clear and honest.
Our people are at the heart of everything we do - and our People Team plays a pivotal role in making Frontier an exceptional place to work. We bring together talented individuals who use economic insight to solve complex challenges, and the People Team ensures they have the environment, support, and opportunities to thrive.
Responsible for designing and delivering Frontier’s People strategy across Europe, the team includes Recruitment and Onboarding, HR Business Partnership, and Learning and Development. Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the business, we foster a culture of collaboration, openness, and excellence - where every individual can perform at their best and feel valued for their contribution.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our collaborative and friendly People Team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll provide essential administrative and coordination support across all our European offices, helping to ensure a smooth and positive employee experience.
As a key point of contact for HR queries, you’ll support colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle; from onboarding new joiners, to assisting with probation, secondments, and employee exits.
Alongside your day-to-day duties, you’ll also contribute to wider People initiatives and improvement projects across the HR agenda, supporting the team in delivering an efficient and people-focused service.
HR and Information Systems
Act as a Workday super-user, supporting colleagues to use the system effectively and ensuring data is entered accurately and consistently.
Carry out basic HR data analysis — including turnover, headcount and other key metrics — and present information clearly for the team and wider stakeholders.
Support improvements to HR systems, reporting processes, and data quality.
HR Support and Guidance
Provide first-line HR support by responding to day-to-day queries on People policies, processes, and procedures across all offices.
Draft clear and engaging HR communications, guidance notes, and updates, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and well-presented.
Help ensure policies are applied consistently, escalating more complex questions to People Leads when required.
Support delivery of key People processes by ensuring communication is timely, clear, and employee-focused.
Employee Lifecycle Administration
Take shared responsibility for coordinating core HR processes, ensuring they run smoothly and support a positive employee experience.
Manage administration for the probation process, including communication, documentation tracking, and monitoring outcomes.
Support the staff survey process, helping to encourage participation, analyse results, and share findings.
Coordinate all aspects of employee exits, including preparing leaver communications, arranging exit interviews, and gathering feedback.
Provide administrative support on visas and right-to-work checks, ensuring compliance and accurate records.
Support the coordination of secondments across offices, ensuring clear communication and consistency of process.
Deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new joiners — from preparing offer documentation to ensuring a smooth first day.
Ensure all HR documentation (such as contract amendments, letters, and system updates) is accurate and completed on time.
What Success Looks Like
You consistently meet team Service Level Agreements, delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality administrative support.
You build trusted relationships across the firm and are known for being approachable, organised, and proactive.
You receive positive feedback on your responsiveness, professionalism, and people-centred approach.
You manage HR processes efficiently and ensure they are well-organised, compliant, and deliver a smooth experience for colleagues.
