What You’ll Do:

  • To deliver a high standard of welcome and ensure customer satisfaction ratings are high at all times. 
  • To maintain client focused service, politeness and professional manner at all times.


Client Services:

  • To have a strong visible presence in the entrance hall and venue and assist clients with directions or any general requests
  • To handle customer complaints and resolve in a positive, pro-active manner and communicate customer comments and compliments to the venue team
  • To build relationships with event organisers, facilitators, clients and delegates alike ensuring all client preferences are recorded and recognised with the aim of giving exceptional customer care
  • To assist fellow team members with any client related requirements such as in room catering, servicing and setting up of meeting rooms and overseeing day and evening client functions if necessary 
  • To deliver waiting service during service times if and when required in a professional and pleasant manner ensuring excellent client service at all times.
  • To follow duties and daily plans as directed and as stated on the rota.
  • To ensure all catering areas are left clean and tidy as is reasonably practicable at all times and signing relevant duties off on appropriate cleaning schedules.
  • To assist with washing up in the food services area and ensure catering equipment is kept clean and tidy, in accordance with Health & Safety.
  • To adhere to company training programs and all related documents.
  • To follow and support any reasonable request relevant to the position and the operations of the department.
  • To maintain a happy and helpful manner and attitude throughout working hours.


Health and Safety

  • To carry out duties in accordance with all Health and Safety regulations and company best practice
  •  To comply with etc venues and statutory regulations on grooming and personal hygiene standards.  


General:

  • To be available for staff briefings and company events 
  • To be available for weekend work where necessary
  • To undertake any reasonable requests for ad hoc duties by the venue team
