Horse Racing Trader

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Horse Racing Trading team. The successful candidate will be required to trade Horse Racing from the UK and Ireland as well as high profile international racing. The role will be varied, fast-paced, and requires excellent attention to detail. The team possesses a strong collectiveness and openness, you will be welcomed into that structure and given a voice to help shape it.

Please note, this role will involve working in shifts including regular weekend work. The hours tend to be 4 x 11 hour days per week varying with varying start and finish times. We are currently based in Hammersmith and work on a hybrid basis. We are moving to brand new offices in the Waterloo area in May/June. 

As a Horse Racing Trader, your day-to-day will look like:

  • Trade UK and Irish horse racing, plus feature international racing.
  • Analysing races, manage risk and adjusting odds as necessary.
  • Assist with the provision of an ante post and horse racing specials service.
  • Help ensure the smooth running of the wider racing product.
  • Profile horse racing customers and manage client base.
  • Have a Team player attitude and liaise with other departments.

You’ll be a great fit for the role if you have:

  • A strong passion and knowledge of Horse Racing.
  • A keen interest in International Horse Racing.
  • A high level of numerical and analytical skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work accurately with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Willingness to work shifts, evenings, weekends, and Public Holidays.
