Purpose: The Sales Manager - Hematology is to lead the sales team in the execution of the Therapeutic sales plan for the assigned Portfolio. Provides leadership, guidance and customer product expertise to the sales team focused on demand generation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meets or exceeds established sales goals through the implementation of sales activities. Also, as CVT member contribute and support strategy development.
  • Leads specific sales events or projects to improve sales performance.
  • Works closely with marketing and access to implement monthly/quarterly/annual sales plan.
  • Establishes team and individual sales goals and provides effective coaching of sales representatives to consistently improve their performance. - Ensures sales activities are in compliance with local (per country) and company regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and sales on both a group and individual level.
  • Prepares and controls sale representatives execution budget (micromarketing); Assists sales representatives with questions and supports customers requiring additional assistance. - Interviews, hires, trains and evaluates the performance of sales representatives.
  • Administers promotions and incentives and provides motivation as needed to sales representatives.
  • Establishes and tracks metrics (KPI's, dashboards, etc.) to assess initiative performance - As a CVT member, contributes and provides information to CVT and management regarding probability of sales, emerging customer issues, and competitor data as observed in area of responsibility
  • Maintains the highest standards of ethics, quality, compliance and accountability; acts in accordance with the J&J Credo to create a supportive environment for others to report potentially unethical or noncompliant activity, ensuring employee ownership for compliance and quality Optional: - Demonstrated track record in pharmaceutical, leading and developing sales teams.
  • Understanding of the healthcare environment and pharmaceutical industry business cycle, especially public accounts in Central America and the Caribbean.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Business Administration, Marketing, Biochemistry or any Science Related field.

Experience and Skills:
Required:
•    A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience 
•    At least two (2) years of experience within sales

•    To have experience leading sales teams.
•    A positive, inclusive style when working with others
•    Ability to challenge the status quo and influence senior leaders to drive tangible results
•    Previous Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
•    Availability to travel 50% of time

    

Preferred:
•    B2 Upper Intermediate level of English language proficiency
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, packages and tools to report interactions and medical visits
•       Previous experience in Marketing is highly preferred.

Safe Fleet requirements:
Since this position is eligible for Company Car as working tool, the following is also required:
•    Valid driver’s license
