Join Wipfli as a Healthcare Coding Consultant II, where collaboration meets innovation. Responsibilities:

  • Examine and improve healthcare coding processes
  • Review and interpret complex medical data for accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align coding practices
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Engage in continuous learning of coding technologies
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects are delivered on time
  • Monitor and control project budgets, making sure that expenses are kept within established limits
  • Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to senior management


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 -3 years of healthcare coding consultative experience required or 5 - 8 years of Hospital and Professional coding consultative experience required
  • AHIMA or AAPC coding certification(s) in good standing
  • Proficiency in medical coding applications
  • Exceptional knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT and HCPCS
  • Demonstrated experience in developing professional PowerPoint presentations
  • Proficiency in Excel functions, formulas, and pivot tables

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $54,000 to $90,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
