The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Health Services Manager to serve as the Southwest/Southern Regional Manager. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Clinical Services, this position is responsible for the delivery of occupational health services to Boeing employees in multiple on-site Occupational Health clinics (El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Huntsville, AL; San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, TX; Hialeah/Miami, FL) and medical support for US Boeing locations without an on-site clinic within specifically identified business units. The position is based out of either Mesa, AZ or San Antonio, TX.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to form relationships throughout the enterprise. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall coordination and delivery of common, company-wide medical services, with oversight of the daily operation of three on-site medical clinics
  • Supervise clinical staff which can include physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, laboratory and radiology technicians, medical assistants, administrative and medical records support
  • Provide leadership, direction and technical guidance to clinic staff, including but not limited to management, coordination, and delivery of work-related injury care, occupational health surveillance examinations, medical restrictions and accommodations, return to work evaluations, fitness for duty exams, and travel immunizations
  • Participate with clinical leadership team in development of standard practices and protocols and leads implementation and performance to standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and health standards
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to Boeing clinical quality standards, policies and procedures
  • Identify process and services for continuous quality improvement
  • Manage business operations with focus on performance metrics
  • Collaboration with business partners and stakeholders, critical to delivery services
  • Provide technical management of suppliers
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with business partners and stakeholders
  • Manage supplier contracts
  • Work is performed at the on-site clinic in San Antonio, TX or Mesa, AZ; requires travel to non-resident clinics

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience as healthcare provider (Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant); with an active unencumbered license in either Texas, or Arizona
  • 1+ years management or leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Occupational Health Experience
  • Management experience in large matrixed organization strongly preferred
  • Experience in delivery of on-site occupational services
  • Excellent communication skills, strong leadership and people management skills
  • A team player with change management skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $134,300 - $181,700
