THE ROLE: 

As Head of Venue Operations, Europe, you will be responsible and leading on the expansion of our operational presence across football and basketball stadiums in Europe. You will play a key role in managing the process of installing our cutting-edge equipment and systems in various sporting arenas. You will oversee a team of Venue Operations Team Leads, Coordinators, and OTHS (Onsite Technical Hardware Support) networks in Europe.

You will be contributing to the expansion of our operations across Europe as we continue to scale. You will play a key role in making sure the team is well structured, trained and deployed in an efficient manner.

THEN

  • Oversee the Venue Operations team within Europe, managing their onboarding, training/upskilling and performance management.
  • Oversee the E2E deployment of GeniusIQ hardware into sports stadiums, making sure deliverable deadlines are hit and managing risk appropriately.
  • Direct contact and relationship management with sports leagues and organizations.
  • Work with product, engineering and commercial to understand any impact on the Venue Operations Team.
  • Coordinate the rollout of multiple concurrent league deployments.
  • Put together comprehensive rollout and maintenance resourcing plans.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally if needed (up to 20% of the time).

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5 + years in venue operations / engineering
  • 3+ years in a management/leadership role overseeing a large team/department
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with challenges and be efficient under pressure
  • Highly analytical mindset
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Rudimentary knowledge of networking (fibre/switches/cat6).
  • Valid driving license/passport and experience with travelling.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
