At Bupa, we’re here to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives – and make a better world. With no shareholders, our focus is firmly on our customers and the communities we serve. This role plays a key part in supporting our mission by ensuring our supply chain and procurement operations run smoothly and efficiently across our London Diagnostics and Secondary Care Campus.

  • Budget management: Developing and overseeing departmental budgets, including staff costs and capital expenditure.

  • Team development: Supporting training, engagement, and team-building initiatives to help your department thrive.

  • Inventory management: Embedding our new Inventory Management System (IMS), driving continuous improvement, and aligning with clinical needs.

  • Purchasing operations: Ensuring purchasing processes meet corporate standards and resolving issues that impact clinical services.

  • Procurement and contracting: Leading supplier relationships, standardising product sets, and working with Bupa Procurement on strategic sourcing.

  • Stakeholder engagement: Collaborating with clinical teams, finance, legal, and external suppliers to deliver value and performance.

  • Governance and compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings a wealth of experience and a collaborative, forward-thinking approach. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.

  • 15–20 years’ experience in hospital or healthcare supply chain and procurement.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and commercial structures.

  • Proven ability to lead multi-site operations and large-scale procurement strategies.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with senior clinical leaders.

  • A creative mindset and the ability to solve complex challenges.

  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, including post-acquisition integration.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Benefits
