Job Description

The Head of Styling for COS you are responsible for translating the unique style of COS, contributing with a styling playbook that creates desire and fashion authority to build Brand and drive selling. Across all marketing touchpoint and selling channels you aim to increase brand engagement and deliver the COS message through styling. You oversee the styling aesthetic for the Brand and are responsible that it resonates with existing customers and creates desire for a new audience. ​

What you will do:

  • Deliver the presentation of the Collection in line with the Brand ID: Responsible to translate the design vision for the collection to drive Brand desire, awareness ,traffic and revenue through campaigns, e-commerce imagery and in-store styling. Evolve the unique styling identity for each category. Deliver clear frameworks across the business to ensure the correct interpretation of the core collection aesthetics and style across the global business. ​
  • Develop the visual identity to support traffic and selling goals across channels: Co-create the commercial workflow and align creative output with business objectives. Take part in seasonal kick offs and collaborate with Buying, Art Direction and Content particularly to deliver on time assets across all touchpoints .Inter-operate across Core Offer teams to ensure styling output and stock availability are aligned. Optimise studio imagery to increase conversion, ensuring key seasonal looks and messages are represented. Connect and align windows styling to ensure a cohesive approach across all business touchpoints.​
  • Lead a team: Lead and grow a team of experts to grow the business, guiding through the whole employee life-cycle. Create a people first working environment taking action according to goals and feedback. Ensure external stylists receive accurate briefs, share feedback on their creative output. Grow a network of stylists and seek new talents. ​

What you need to succeed :
 

  • Styling - Expert​
  • Strong visual storytelling ability, crafting looks that communicate a clear narrative and brand identity. Skilled in wardrobe curation, building capsule wardrobes, identifying gaps and elevating existing pieces. Strong fabric and fit knowledge. ​
  • Stakeholder Management - Expert​
  • Consultative communication skills – the ability to translate design briefs into concrete styling solutions. Guiding a wide range of colleagues towards the right aesthetics without friction, securing alignment across multiple touchpoints and locations.​
     
  • Creative development - Advanced​
  • The ability to forecast trends, to interpret cultural, fashion and consumer trends and translate them into actionable styling choices. Evolving styling choices to ensure they reinforce brand positioning, tone of voice and customer needs. Secure digital proficiency to stay up to date with the evolution of processes to enhance output. ​
     
  • Business analysis – skilled ​
  • The ability to use customer date, sales insights and feedback to refine direction. Show product knowledge expertise – be able to style the collection with a commercial mindset. ​

This is a Full‑time, 12‑month Temporary contract  based at our Head Office in London .
