About the team and the role:

The eBay Fashion team in London plays a pivotal role in shaping how millions of people buy and sell fashion on our marketplace. Sitting at the heart of our UK business, the team leads category strategy, commercial growth and buyer experience across Fashion & Luxury.

The Head of Strategic Partnerships will lead the next phase of growth for eBay Fashion by building a trusted, high-quality and differentiated supply ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, partnerships and industry engagement, shaping how eBay is positioned within the fashion and luxury resale market. As a senior leader, you will define how eBay shows up in the broader fashion ecosystem—unlocking supply at scale, influencing perception, and embedding eBay at the centre of the circular economy.

What you will accomplish:

  • Define and deliver a partnership strategy that drives sustained growth in Fashion, securing high-impact collaborations with brands, retailers and platforms to expand supply and demand

  • Lead the expansion of Resale-as-a-Service (RaaS) and circular supply initiatives, including take-back, trade-in, repair and refurbishment partnerships

  • Unlock new and non-traditional supply sources such as returns, deadstock, archives and rental resale, diversifying inventory at scale

  • Develop and grow brand-owned storefronts and strategic retail partnerships, increasing visibility of key partners and enhancing the on-platform experience

  • Drive innovation in live commerce, creating high-impact moments that generate demand and cultural relevance

  • Establish eBay as a credible and influential voice within the fashion and luxury ecosystem through partnerships with industry bodies, councils and organisations

  • Build partnerships beyond inventory, including sustainability organisations, circularity alliances and cultural institutions, to strengthen long-term brand credibility

  • Define eBay’s presence across key fashion moments such as Fashion Weeks and industry events, and lead the creation of eBay-owned activations that connect the brand to fashion audiences

  • Strengthen engagement with the resale community, including resellers, curators, stylists and collectors, and support the growth of community-led and live commerce formats

What you will bring:

  • Senior leadership experience in fashion, retail, marketplaces or partnerships

  • Demonstrated success building and scaling strategic partnerships with measurable impact

  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to translate strategy into outcomes

  • Deep understanding of the fashion, luxury and resale landscape

  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and operating across complex, cross-functional environments

  • Ability to build credibility within industry networks and external partner organisations

  • Experience working with or across areas such as sustainability, circularity, or ecosystem development is beneficial
