Role Purpose

The Head of Treasury Transformation & Settlements will be responsible for overseeing our merchant settlements across the globe & transforming Treasury processes and systems to meet the scalable and efficient requirements of the business.

  • You will collaborate with product and engineering to build out and automate our settlements and treasury systems to ensure we are built for scale. You will help define the vision of the future Treasury and Settlement state.
  • You will work to work with key stakeholders across the org to enhance and productise existing and new treasury product with particular areas of focus on cash management, liquidity, FX and payment flows.
  • You will manage some existing Payops functions and work to progressively automate and create efficiency
  • You will define and develop KPIs to report to management to ensure visibility and a strong control environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and improve processes for the group in respect of merchant settlement.
  • Work with key senior stakeholders in product, technology and finance to build a best-in-class automated settlement capability – define future states and requirements for the business
  • Own the TMS implementation project and fully define the future operating model for it within the business
  • Own the merchant settlement process – work closely with Operations to deliver a long term plan for scaling the business
  • Deliver a roadmap of key efficiencies for the business across all payment flows
  • Define a data strategy for Settlement and Payops - Develop key data metrics and insights to track and optimize against
  • Understand merchant requirements – work with commercial and finance teams to provide data and advise on best execution of merchant volumes
  • Manage and develop a global payops function - build a high performing team across multiple timezones
  • Establish and report regularly KPI’s in respect of reconciliation processes
  • Participate in the implementation of the Treasury Management system.
  • Involvement in various projects and other Treasury tasks as required.
