About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to lead our S&OP function. This critical role will be responsible for creating a process that will drive alignment between our commercial, marketing, operations, and finance teams to optimise our supply chain, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance overall business performance.

Your daily adventure at Storio:

  • S&OP Leadership:
  • Lead and manage the S&OP process, ensuring it is efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making within the S&OP team.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Own BOMs for the business ensuring they are accurate, updated and controlled.
  • Maintain supply routings for brand/sales country/product combinations to convert the latest demand consensus forecast into operational production site SKU forecasts (provided on a monthly basis and broken down by day at Peak). 

  • Demand Planning:

  • Oversee the demand planning process, including forecasting, demand shaping, and inventory management.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and historical data to generate accurate demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and develop effective demand planning strategies.

  • Supply Planning:

  • Work closely with the supply chain team to optimize supply chain operations, including production planning, inventory management, and procurement.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions and capacity constraints.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.

  • Performance Management:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the S&OP process.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.

  • Team Management:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of S&OP professionals.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • You’ll utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue growth, and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall success of Storio Group.

What you bring to the party:

  • Degree/Degree calibre in Supply chain, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience of supply chain management with strong focus on S&OP.
  • Proven track record of leading successful S&OP processes and driving significant business impact.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Deep understanding of supply chain principles and forecasting techniques.
  • Consumer centric, commercially aware and understanding of e-commerce 
  • Understanding of Supply Chain planning processes, customer services and logistics.
  • Comfortable with a lot of manual processes and Excel analysis 
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organistion.
  • Highly motivated and results orientated
  • Ability to create an S&OP process, sell its benefits to stakeholders and bring it life.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and aptitude.\
  • Strong decision-making ability in situations where there is ambiguity.
