Job Description

The Role 

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Resource Management to lead our resourcing strategy and operations across the firm. This is a Director-level position with significant influence on PA’s ability to deliver exceptional client outcomes and maintain high consultant engagement. 

As Head of Resource Management, you will: 

  • Set and execute the resource management strategy to ensure optimal allocation of talent across projects and business units. 

  • Lead a team of resource managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. 

  • Partner with senior leadership to forecast demand, manage capacity, and align resourcing with strategic priorities. 

  • Drive utilisation and workforce planning, balancing client needs, consultant development, and commercial performance. 

  • Champion diversity and inclusion in resourcing decisions, ensuring equitable opportunities for all consultants. 

  • Implement best-in-class tools and processes for resource planning, reporting, and analytics. 

  • Influence change management initiatives, embedding resource management excellence across the organisation.  

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For 

  • Proven experience in resource management leadership within a large, complex, and fast-paced organisation (professional services experience preferred). 

  • Strong strategic planning and operational management skills. 

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing ability at senior levels. 

  • Expertise in capacity planning, utilisation optimisation, and workforce analytics. 

  • Ability to lead and inspire teams, driving high performance and continuous improvement. 

  • Familiarity with resource management tools and technology. 

  • A collaborative mindset aligned with PA’s values and purpose.
