Context of the Role

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Head of Product (Innovation & Transformation) is a key strategic driver of our high-growth product team and a voice of our customers’ evolving needs. You will collaborate with skilled product leaders, engineers, and a strong cross-functional team across the business.

This role is responsible for expanding Thunes’ reach and deepening customer engagement through the delivery of innovative, transformational products, including the exploration of new customer segments, emerging technologies, and the digital assets ecosystem. You will oversee and drive multiple product portfolios, including ICP/use cases, Data Product workstreams, Product Treasury, Pay Platform, and AI.

You will lead multiple teams and own the development and management of the product roadmap while defining and driving a forward-looking product strategy that fosters innovation and transformational growth.

This role requires someone who thrives in a matrix environment and is adept at integrating new capabilities and technologies into scalable, customer-driven solutions that align with Thunes’ global growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global product development strategy and roadmap across the designated product portfolios, identifying market opportunities and transformational growth levers based on deep customer and industry insights.
  • Inspire and manage high-performing product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and shape opportunities in new and emerging markets, including digital assets and volatile segments, translating them into viable product strategies and market offerings.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, compliance, and operations to bring innovative and scalable products to market.
  • Define and drive Go-To-Market strategies, backed by market research, customer validation, and competitive analysis.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle in collaboration with product owners and implementation teams — from ideation through design, development, testing, and release.
  • Balance customization and scalability by working closely with Business Development and Technology teams to optimize solution architecture.
  • Continuously assess regulatory developments, especially in digital assets and high-risk sectors, ensuring compliance is embedded in the product strategy.
  • Act as a change agent across the company by improving tools, processes, and collaboration practices that accelerate the delivery of impactful product solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of compelling collateral, including user guides, presentations, and commercial materials.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic, technical, or financial roadblocks that may impact successful delivery of product outcomes.

What we are looking for

  • At least 7+ years of experience in Product Management in fintech/technology/start-up environments, with at least 3 years in a leadership role driving high-performing teams and innovation initiatives.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative and transformational product strategies with tangible business results.
  • Deep understanding of fintech trends, digital assets, blockchain, and emerging technologies — with experience navigating regulated or volatile markets being a strong advantage.
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and solutions-oriented approach — equally comfortable thinking big and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, drive alignment, and gain buy-in for disruptive ideas across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; resilient under pressure and capable of managing uncertainty in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and across geographies.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance innovation and risk, and to make data-driven decisions with clear business impact.
