Head of Product

The Head of Product is responsible for leading the product management team in developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy. This includes defining, launching, and managing products across multiple operators and platforms.

What you'll do:

  • Develops an overall product vision that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and keeps the customer the heart of the experience 
  • Leads the development of a detailed product strategy and roadmap to ensure successful execution against goals
  • Provides clear direction through ambiguity and clear-headed prioritisation 
  • You will make magic happen. We love to deliver amazing experiences for our customers whatever device they use, and wherever they are.
  • Think global, work global - highly experienced in defining globally scalable experiences that meet the needs of customers globally
  • Tackle complex customer and business problems to define the right outcomes and the right product to achieve them. 
  • Define and track success metrics that ladder up and align with the product strategy
  • Monitors industry trends to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing ones
  • Expert in ensuring that decisions are made based on clear data, research and insight
  • Leverages customer feedback and product data to form actionable insights that direct roadmap priority decisions
  • Expert at operating in an Agile environment, displaying excellent collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders at varied levels to get to the desired outcome
  • Leads others based on knowledge and specialist expertise in multiple product areas, including across engineering, design and business stakeholders
  • Adept at concise, clear and continuous communication, with all relevant partners to make the right recommendations and decisions in a timely manner
  • Experienced at influencing the product proposition and strategy leveraging a high competence in technical and business comprehension
  • Defines the right global GTM messaging and positioning for all required communication channels. 
  • Establishes processes and procedures within the Global Product Organisation. 
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to products
  • Manages external vendors as needed to support product initiatives.   

Focus areas for this role may include:

  • Work with leadership to create and cement the global E2E strategy and framework to guide the direction of the overall global roadmap
  • A strong understanding of KPI’s and how these ladder up and link to the overall strategy
  • Create all centralised Roadmaps, keeping them up to date and bring together both the holistic view of the global product and the focused view of key areas for each global partner
  • Liaise with vertical stakeholders to transfer their specific roadmaps and strategies to the central roadmap view
  • Gain a high-level understanding of features on the roadmap – share within the product team and internal stakeholders. A solid understanding of the key purpose, and dial that each feature is intended to address and move, is important
  • Identify and create a compelling and clear narrative at the right level for different levels of stakeholders
  • Presentation creation, quickly translating the aforementioned information, and more, into high standard stakeholder decks
  • Liaise with, and manage, internal stakeholders, ensuring Global Product’s strategic approach and product roadmap are articulated clearly and understood
  • Create frameworks to align partner backlogs (and approach to backlogs) wherever possible
  • Strong preference for someone already experienced in operating at this level
  • Lead a team of Product Leads and Programme Managers to achieve all these goals

What you'll bring:  

  • Requires solid experience in entertainment product management – ideally in TV Product 
  • Strong communication skills with ability to adapt to a wide range of audience & stakeholders 
  • Proven ability to lead from the front, managing and coaching a team who are growing and developing 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with leadership in creating and cementing a global E2E strategy and framework, ensuring a strategic vision that guides the direction of the overall global roadmap 
  • Proven expertise in understanding and leveraging KPIs, with the ability to link them to the overall strategy, ensuring a data-driven approach to measure and drive success. 
  • Strong presentation skills in creating centralised Roadmaps, integrating both the holistic view of the global product and the focused view of key areas for each global partner. 
  • Exceptional ability in identifying and creating a compelling narrative for different levels of stakeholder. 
  • Proven track record in managing and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the Global Product’s strategic approach and product roadmap are comprehensively articulated and understood. 
  • Skilled in managing multiple partners’ considerations and collaboration by creating frameworks to align partner backlogs and approaches. 
  • Extensive leadership experience in guiding teams of Product Leads and Programme Managers to achieve strategic objectives and goals.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
