About the departmentPrivate Markets group drives Franklin Templeton’s growth in private and alternative investments. Our specialist managers deliver strategies in private debt, hedge funds, real estate, secondary private equity, and venture/growth equity. Together, we operate as a collaborative, high-performing team focused on innovation and client success. Joining us means gaining exposure to global markets, working with industry leaders, and shaping solutions that matter. We’re at an exciting point in our journey with ~$265 billion total alternative assets under management (as of October, 2025) and we’re looking for someone to drive us forward.
How you will add valueDeliver exceptional investor services for Private Markets in EMEA
Review and implement broker-dealer and placement agent agreements
Manage capital expenses for fundraising across investment vehicles
Coordinate capital events and ensure accurate reporting
Act as subject matter expert on fund mechanics and operations
Support regional budgeting and global investor services forecasting/planning
Drive process improvements and optimise internal reporting for scalability
Build strong relationships with custodians, transfer agents, and key partners
Oversee onboarding, fund administration, and post-launch operations
Ensure timely, clear communication with investors and internal teams
Experience, Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree ideally in finance or a related field; CFA or CAIA preferred
Proven experience in investor services within Private Markets ideally within a regional team
Strong knowledge of fund structures and global capital markets
Familiarity with EMEA regulatory requirements
Knowledge of alternative investment strategies.
Experience with publicly traded entities
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
Strong project management and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to develop processes and contribute to business growth.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Collaborative mindset with proactive problem-solving approach
This role carries a Certified Person designation under the FCA’s Senior Managers & Certified Regime. This means you will be responsible for compliance with SM&CR and its related Policies, including adherence to the Conduct Rules.
