Company Description

Veremark is a global background-screening and compliance technology company helping businesses hire with confidence across multiple markets. Our platform supports regulated, high-trust hiring for fast-growing organisations worldwide. We’re a Series B stage scale-up with strong inbound demand and a clear growth mandate. Performance marketing — particularly search — is a critical growth engine for us, and we’re bringing it fully in-house as we scale.

We are hiring a hands-on Head of Performance Marketing to own and scale Veremark’s paid acquisition engine, with a primary focus on paid search.

This role has end-to-end responsibility for performance marketing execution, optimisation and commercial impact. You will be directly accountable for how paid search drives pipeline and revenue across priority markets, working closely with Marketing leadership, Revenue Operations and Sales.

This is not a strategy-only role. You will be in the tools, rebuilding and optimising accounts, shaping performance frameworks, and ensuring paid growth is efficient, scalable and commercially aligned.

As Veremark continues to scale, this role will help define what great performance marketing looks like in a global Series B business.

Job Description

Own and scale paid search across priority regions, with full responsibility for Google Ads performance, structure and efficiency.

Rebuild and optimise account structures around buyer intent and commercial outcomes, expanding high-intent keyword coverage and improving Quality Score, CTR and conversion performance through tighter alignment between search intent, ad messaging and landing pages.

Partner closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations and Sales to ensure conversion events reflect commercial value, lead quality aligns with sales capacity, and CAC and payback remain appropriate for a Series B growth model.

Continuously test, learn and refine performance, scaling what works while balancing short-term optimisation with long-term scalability.

Build clear performance frameworks, reporting and playbooks that define what “good” looks like as spend, geography and complexity increase.

Support the evolution of performance marketing at Veremark, including future channel expansion and contributing to building a broader performance function over time.

Qualifications

7–12+ years’ experience in performance marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or regulated markets, with hands-on responsibility for Google Ads in a high-growth environment.

Proven experience operating in a Series B or similar scale-up, including restructuring complex accounts to improve efficiency and scale.

Strong understanding of search intent, keyword strategy and Quality Score drivers, with a commercial, data-driven mindset focused on pipeline and revenue impact.

Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, sales and revenue operations, and being accountable for outcomes, not just activity.

A hands-on operator who is comfortable executing now while building for scale.

Experience in HR tech, compliance, RegTech or complex B2B buying journeys is a plus, as is experience bringing performance marketing in-house from agencies.

Additional Information

We are an all-remote organisation with ~200 people globally. We value Trust, Integrity, Data and Experience in everything we do.

Veremark operates in high-trust, regulated markets and partners with leading platforms across the People & Talent ecosystem. We are growing fast and have been recognised in Deloitte’s Fast 50 / Fast 500 and FT1000.
