Neko Health is a Swedish health-tech company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Our vision is to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection. Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is both convenient and affordable for the public. This requires completely reimagining the healthcare experience and incorporating the latest advances in sensors and AI.

The People Technology Lead is responsible for the overall architecture, successful operation, and strategic evolution of the entire People technology ecosystem (HRIS and integrated platforms). This role ensures systems are stable, scalable, secure, and configured to deliver an optimal employee and HR user experience while maintaining data integrity across the global organization.

System Strategy and Architecture:

  • System Roadmap: Define and manage the long-term strategic roadmap for all core People applications (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS, Performance Management).
  • Solution Design: Lead the design and implementation of new technology solutions, modules, and major system upgrades, ensuring alignment with global People strategy and business needs.
  • Integration Management: Oversee the architecture and maintenance of all system integrations with internal platforms (e.g., Finance, IT) and external vendors, ensuring seamless and secure data flow.

Operations and Governance:

  • System Health: Ensure the stability, security, and operational performance of all People systems globally, acting as the escalation point for major system issues and outages.
  • Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce global standards for system configuration, access control, and data governance, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Vendor Management: Manage key relationships with primary HR software vendors, driving service level agreements (SLAs), negotiating contracts, and advocating for system improvements.

Data Integrity and Reporting:

  • Data Quality: Implement and monitor processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of people data across all systems.
  • Analytics Enablement: Partner closely with the People Analytics team to ensure systems provide reliable, structured data necessary for advanced reporting, metrics, and predictive modelling.

Team and Stakeholder Management:

  • Leadership & Coaching: Mentor and guide HRIS Administrators and Analysts, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as the primary technical consultant to People Operations, Talent, and Finance teams, translating operational challenges into effective technical solutions.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in HR Technology or HRIS Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior architectural role managing a complex, global system landscape.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep functional and technical mastery of a major Tier 1 global HRIS platform (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Cloud HCM).
  • Skills: Expertise in system configuration, data privacy, security protocols, and integration technologies (APIs, middleware). Strong project management skills, particularly managing technology implementations and system changes.
  • Mindset: Strategic thinker with a highly analytical and problem-solving approach, focused on scalability and optimizing the end-user experience.

This role is based in London. We offer a dynamic work environment with a high degree of autonomy that fosters growth and development. If you are passionate about building a better healthcare system for everyone and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
