The role

Joining our high performing Engineering function, you will lead collaboration between Product and Engineering, aligning business priorities, strategic projects and executing plans that directly support company goals. Working across multiple teams, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the Engineering function, with stakeholders seeking your support and insights on how to mitigate roadblocks, foster cross-team coordination and ultimately achieve strategic objectives. 

Autonomy and independence is in abundance at Liberis, with you having the ability to define the scope of your role, leading the team in new, complex initiatives and projects. Based out of our London office 3 days a week, you will be co-located with our Engineering Teams, with them looking to you to hold the role of culture champion, building on and enhancing our existing Engineering culture. 


What you'll get to do:

As our Head of Operations, you will oversee the execution of complex initiatives within Product & Tech, aligning efforts with business objectives and team needs. Holding a pivotal role as the central point of contact for all delivery activities, you will facilitate the coordination of internal teams and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Additionally, you will coach and manage a team of Delivery Managers, fostering their growth while ensuring clear communication and alignment across the Product & Tech project portfolio. Whilst you may not have direct ownership of a specific project, a key part of your role will be ensuring that Product & Tech leadership can easily assess the health of the portfolio - monitoring velocity, impact, and overall performance - to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

  1. Screening call with Chess (Internal recruiter) 
  2. Video interview with the Hiring Manager
  3. Face-to-face task based interview with the Engineering Team 


What you'll bring:

  • Proven organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Polished stakeholder management and communication skills 
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing a high performing team 
  • A strong understanding of how to map and change operational processes
  • Experience working closely with and supporting a high performing Engineering function.
  • Proven success managing complex, large scale projects within a technology organisation
