Help families get answers years sooner

Children who need an autism or ADHD assessment can wait 4 to 10 years on the NHS. Paloma has cut that to under 3 months by rebuilding the care journey around families, and creating our own software platform and AI tools.

Families rate us 4.9 out of 5 on Google. We are profitable, backed by healthcare venture investors Triple Point and Heal Capital, and growing fast (we are 170 people today and growing by 10 people per month).

Demand for autism and ADHD support is rising fast, and parents are searching for a name they can trust. Paloma has the service, the reviews and the momentum to become that name. You do not need a health background to help us get there. You need to know how to grow a consumer brand that people trust.

The role

We already receive thousands of NHS referrals a month, with a marketing team of two. Next, we are adding private support for families who cannot get NHS care where they live, and new services for life after diagnosis.

You will lead marketing through that next chapter: the brand, the budget and growth, with real autonomy and a direct line to the CEO. It is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building as much as leading.

What you will lead

Today, most families come to us through NHS referrals. Your job is to build Paloma into the leading brand in children's autism and ADHD care. We want to be the name parents trust and choose for themselves, at every stage of their child's journey.

You will have the budget and the freedom to test, learn and invest in what works. You will lead on:

  • Growth in all channels. Paid social and search (Meta, Google, today, YouTube and TikTok in the future), SEO, organic social, creators, partnerships, PR and local media. Success means reaching more new families while keeping the cost of winning each one on target.
  • Brand and content. You will bring to life what Paloma means wherever families meet us, from the website and emails to every marketing channel. That includes video and short-form video that stands out, speaks to parents and drives growth.
  • The customer journey. Make every step, from a parent's first search to getting an NHS referral or paying for a private assessment, clear and reassuring. You will own the website, sign-up, and parent contacts (whether by email or text) and the marketing tech stack that ties them together.
  • Voice of the customer. Partner with Product to research with families, schools and GPs, and turn what you learn into action. Use it to shape how we show up and what we say, and to improve both our marketing and our services.
  • Team. Today you have a strong in-house team of two and will define and grow the team to meet our goals

Tools. You ensure our marketing tech stack meets our needs.

What you will bring
  • A track record of growing a consumer business at pace, with the numbers to show it.
  • Hands-on performance marketing. You have built and run campaigns yourself in the last six months.
  • A strong creative instinct, especially for short-form video and storytelling.
  • Comfort with data, testing and a modern marketing stack.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.

Desirable, but not essential criteria are:

  • Experience in health, wellbeing, or another field where trust drives decisions
  • Growing a service/product region by region
  • Growing a service through building communities, e.g. with parents or schools.

Why join us
  • A growing business. Join a profitable, venture-backed company setting out to be number one in a growing category.
  • New services to launch. Help grow the core business and lead the launch of new services, including private care.
  • Scope to make an impact. The brand, the budget and the team are yours, with a direct line to the CEO.
  • Room to grow. A clear route to Marketing Director promotion as the team and the business grow.
  • Looked after. Alongside your salary and share options, you access our wider benefits package set out below

Our benefits:

  • A strong and positive culture that prioritises team building, transparency, and career development. This includes protected time and budget for team connection and your individual learning.
  • Annual salary reviews, ensuring they are competitive
  • 5% employer pension contribution
  • Optional Private Medical Insurance and Employee Assistance Programme
  • Home Office Equipment Allowance of £200
  • 28 days of annual leave, plus your birthday, plus bank holidays off. Plus, where required, the option to buy additional leave and take special leave for emergencies
  • A premium performance company laptop
  • NHS discounts, including the Blue Light Card (as we are an NHS provider).
