Overview

The Head of Marketing is responsible for creating and executing comprehensive global marketing plans to build the Sportable brand, increase supporter engagement and drive commercial activities.

 

This position has a specific focus on digital platform marketing and is intended to lead the direction of the brand across any both B2B and B2B2C initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate can handle multiple projects at one time while ensuring overall objectives are being met, whilst driving initiatives across various groups within the organisation.

Required skills / experience

●      8+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership position(s).

●      Deep experience in the sports wearables and/or the sports data sub-verticals.

●      Understands the mindset of elite teams, (inter)national leagues and broadcasters.

●      Proven success in developing and executing global marketing strategies.

●      Strong brand-building expertise with a focus on technology-driven products.

●      Experience leading B2B and B2B2C marketing initiatives.

●      Familiarity with product marketing, content strategy, digital campaigns and events.

●      Ability to work in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments.

Responsibilities

●      Build and execute Sportable’s global marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and revenue growth.

●      Develop Sportable’s brand positioning to elevate its leadership in sports technology.

●      Own and manage specific marketing projects from strategy through tactical execution, including reporting and analysis.

●      Work with current and potential commercial partners and internal partner activation teams to develop and manage meaningful activation programs.

●      Partner with sports business and sports tech media outlets to identify integration opportunities and drive commercial awareness of the brand.

●      Work closely with the sales and partnerships teams to support lead generation and conversion.

●      Lead and grow the marketing team across all key areas: digital, content, communications, events and product marketing.

●      Manage relationships with PR agencies, creative partners and contractors.

●      Oversee marketing budgets and deliver measurable outcomes.

●      Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches.

●      Craft high-impact storytelling across channels to engage fans, leagues, teams and broadcasters.
