About the Role

The Head of Marketing (UKI) is a high-impact, transformative leadership role responsible for driving field marketing and demand generation across our largest region.

As a trusted ally to the CMO and a key member of both the Marketing Senior Management Team and the UK&I Leadership Team, you will spearhead our transition from a locally-driven strategy to an effective global model that is locally adapted and creatively executed.

In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the VP of UK&I (Head of Sales), UK&I Sales Leaders, and key HQ stakeholders (including Transformation, Web & Ops, Brand, and Product Marketing) to deliver an ambitious regional growth plan while elevating our positioning in the market.

If you bring a strong performance marketing background, a proven track record of owning revenue/pipeline targets, and the leadership skills to guide a team through strategic transformation, we want to hear from you.

The Role:Strategic Planning & Go-To-Market (GTM)
  • Lead Regional Strategy: Own the marketing and demand generation strategy for the UKI market targeting enterprise and non-enterprise clients, ensuring global strategy is tailored and successfully activated locally.
  • Drive Brand & Product Positioning: Strategise and execute a strategic marketing pivot to strengthen the Esendex brand—effectively positioning and promoting our API, UI, and ISV partnership models.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Partner closely with Product Marketing and local sales teams to craft impactful positioning, messaging, and comprehensive GTM strategies.
  • Global Alignment: Act as a critical partner to the CMO in transitioning marketing operations seamlessly from a regional approach to a "globally aligned, locally executed" framework.
Demand Generation & Performance Marketing
  • Pipeline & Revenue Ownership: Directly own and deliver ambitious targets for pipeline generation, lead acquisition, and conversion.
  • Multi-Channel Optimization: Oversee high-performing multi-channel campaigns across digital (paid, search, web, email, social), Account-Based Marketing (ABM), webinars, and events.
  • Data-Driven Performance: Partner with Sales and Marketing Ops to track, report, and optimise campaign ROI and business performance.
Team Leadership & Organisational Transformation
  • Evolve Capability & Structure: Evaluate and scale the UKI marketing team structure to ensure complete readiness for our next phase of growth.
  • Inspire & Mentour: Build, mentor, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
  • Budget Ownership: Formulate, manage, and forecast the UKI marketing budget, maximizing ROI across agency partners, programs, and staffing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Executive Partnership: Actively contribute as a core member of the UKI Leadership Team, partnering closely with the UK General Manager and VP of Sales.
  • HQ Synergy: Build seamless operational workflows with global HQ teams across Web & Ops, Brand, Product Marketing, and Product.
  • Sales Alignment: Tightly align with sales and success teams to deliver targeted sales enablement tools, localized content, and strategic growth campaigns.
The Person:
  • Experience: 8+ years of dynamic marketing experience, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership or people manager role within an international or cross-functional matrix organisation.
  • Industry Expertise: Essential experience in CPaaS, UCaaS, or Business Messaging (experience targeting non-enterprise/SMB segments is highly desirable).
  • Measurable Track Record: Proven background in performance marketing with direct responsibility for carrying and exceeding pipeline/revenue growth targets.
  • GTM & Positioning Expertise: Strong strategic skills in positioning, messaging, and executing multi-channel GTM strategies (familiarity with API/developer, UI end-user, or ISV models is a major plus).
  • Transformation Skills: Demonstrated ability to drive strategic change, mentor teams, and build world-class marketing structures.
