Job Description

As the Head of Marketing for our Crisps and Snacks, you’ll be at the helm of the beloved KETTLE®  brand – the brand that changed the crisps game forever – along with some of the nation’s favourite retailer brands.

You’ll be responsible for the leadership and stewardship of our category group, covering both Valeo-owned brands and retailer-owned brands. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership, lead from the front and build a high-performance team.

  • Drive Success: Hit or beat budget financial targets and grow market shares.
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure excellent stewardship of brand plans and deliver outstanding monthly business and plan reports to the board.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and develop your team, fostering a culture of high performance and support.
  • Strategy Leadership: Lead the annual strategy review and quarterly updates on brand plans, ensuring alignment with our "Valeo Brand Building Recipe".
  • Budget Management: Ensure marketing budget compliance and optimization
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other teams to drive business success.
  • Consumer Engagement: Inspire and oversee our “Consumer is Boss” plan, maintaining regular connections with our consumers.

** This role can be based within distance of any of our UK sites, with 2-3 visits per month to Norwich. 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Brand Building Mastery: Proven experience in building and leading successful brands. Ideally with private label or customer experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, driving a culture of excellence.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent skills in managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Innovative Spirit: A knack for innovation and a passion for staying ahead of market trends.
