Partnering closely with the General Counsel and the senior Legal leadership, you will define and deliver a 12–24 month roadmap focused on operating model design, technology enablement (including AI), and scalable processes. This role is key to building a robust, future-proof platform that supports growth while maintaining strong regulatory outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and deliver opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and collaboration
  • Redesign the operating model to support Optiver’s growth across markets and products
  • Drive improvements in workflows, automation, and data quality
  • Evaluate and implement enabling technologies, including AI-driven solutions
  • Support decision-making across people, technology, and third-party support
  • Implement consistent governance and controls across the Global Legal function
  • Strengthen MI to support executive and board-level decisions
  • Enable expansion into new products, markets, and jurisdictions with scalable regulatory infrastructure
  • Establish sustainable processes to support ongoing growth and regulatory change

 Who you are

  • Experience in operations, strategy, or transformation roles within Financial Services
  • Experience working within or closely with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, or Risk functions
  • Strong understanding of regulated environments and financial markets
  • Proven ability to scale teams or control functions in high-growth organisations
  • Experience leveraging technology and data to drive operational improvements
  • Track record of delivering complex transformation initiatives
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders across functions
  • Pragmatic, commercial, and delivery-focused, with a solutions-oriented mindset
