About us

Fifth Dimension helps real-assets investors and managers turn complex documents and data into intelligence they can use to make better decisions. We've raised a $26M Series A led by HV Capital and are expanding across the US and APAC.

We're hiring a Head of Growth to shape our next stage: choosing where we compete, defining how we reach and win the right customers, and building a growth function that can scale with the business.

What is the role?

Reporting to Kate, our Co-founder and CEO, you'll own our growth strategy and work with the founders and leaders across sales, product and customer success to translate it into a clear go-to-market plan. That means making choices about which customers and use cases to prioritise, what makes our proposition compelling, and where we invest time and money.

Your remit spans the customer journey, from awareness and demand through to conversion, adoption and expansion. You'll own growth's contribution to qualified pipeline and revenue, and work with the relevant teams to address the biggest barriers to growth wherever they sit.

We're still testing how best to take our product to market. You'll bring a strong bias towards experimentation: form clear hypotheses, get focused tests into market and use what you learn to sharpen our strategy. We want someone who brings informed ideas about what could work and is willing to change direction when the evidence points elsewhere.

This is a leadership role with real building to do. You'll spend time with customers, interrogate the numbers, develop the proposition and get promising ideas into market. You'll also decide what to stop, where to focus and which capabilities we need next.

What you'll do
  • Own a growth strategy and go-to-market plan tied to company revenue goals

  • Identify the segments, buyers, use cases and markets with the strongest opportunity, and make clear decisions about sequencing and investment

  • Work with customers, sales and product to sharpen our positioning, messaging and evidence of customer value

  • Build a prioritised programme of GTM experiments across target segments, messaging, channels and sales approaches

  • Define what each experiment should teach us and how we'll judge it, using customer feedback and commercial signals appropriate to our sales cycle

  • Decide what to scale, adapt or stop, and use those decisions to shape our mix of outbound, inbound, content, events, partnerships and account-based programmes

  • Partner with sales on opportunity quality, buying-group engagement and conversion, and with product and customer success on adoption, expansion and customer advocacy

  • Set growth targets and connect activity and spend to qualified opportunities, pipeline progression, revenue and acquisition efficiency

  • Establish a regular GTM review with leadership so that insight turns into decisions and clear priorities

  • Build the growth function, coordinating execution and proposing the budget, hires and external support needed for the next stage

What we're looking forYou've probably:
  • Set and delivered growth or GTM strategy for an early-stage or scaling B2B software business, with evidence of your contribution to pipeline and revenue

  • Built a growth function or established a new route to market while the approach was still being figured out

  • Made consequential choices about target customers, positioning, channels and resource allocation, and can explain what changed because of them

  • Worked closely with enterprise sales teams through long sales cycles and complex buying decisions

  • Designed and tested different GTM approaches, learned from unsuccessful or inconclusive results, and turned promising findings into repeatable ways of winning customers

  • Worked across customer insight, positioning, demand generation and funnel performance, with enough practical depth to evaluate execution and get directly involved

  • Used CRM and commercial data to diagnose growth problems and guide decisions

  • Applied AI and automation to GTM with sound judgement about quality, customer experience and human oversight

  • Aligned founders and functional leaders around shared priorities and taken responsibility for delivery

You're probably someone who:
  • Thinks commercially and connects growth decisions to business outcomes

  • Brings a strong bias towards experimentation and is willing to change their mind

  • Can make focused decisions with incomplete information, then improve them as evidence emerges

  • Moves comfortably between setting direction and making things happen

  • Takes ownership of problems and follows through on the results

  • Challenges assumptions constructively and brings people with them

  • Enjoys learning directly from customers as much as interrogating the numbers

  • Brings original ideas and the discipline to test them

Bonus points for experience in:
  • Taking enterprise software to institutional investors, funds or asset managers

  • Helping enterprise buyers adopt a new category of technology

  • Developing GTM approaches across international markets

This role may not be for you if…
  • You want to inherit an established GTM approach with the major decisions already made

  • You prefer to set strategy and hand off responsibility for its results

  • You're looking to focus on a single marketing channel

  • You need a large team in place before you can make progress

  • You're uncomfortable testing your assumptions or changing direction when the evidence warrants it

Compensation
  • £100,000–£140,000 + bonus + equity
