This is a senior leadership role overseeing our Go To Market and Hardware Partner Management teams for Connectivity. As Head of GTM and Hardware Partner Management, you will lead our day-to-day relationships with key external partners, spearhead our hardware growth ambitions, and orchestrate activity from teams across the business to bring new devices, campaigns & propositions to market.

As a member of the Connectivity Strategy & Propositions team. You’ll help drive our hardware revenue growth as well as orchestrating major product, commercial and marketing launches.

  • Bring to market the new flagship device launches (e.g., from Apple, Samsung, Google) and Sky product innovations, acting as a focal point in bringing together activities across Sky
  • Orchestrate the execution of major seasonal campaigns (e.g., Black Friday, Winter Sale), aligning activity across marketing, commercial and RTMs to maximise key trading moments
  • Ensure that our front-line Voice Trading, Retail and Customer Comms teams are equipped with the knowledge needed and key messages to deliver our growth targets
  • Act as a key point of contact for Apple, Samsung and Google, maintaining strong relationships and positioning Sky as a great partner to help deliver on their objectives
  • Shape, align and deliver an integrated strategy and plan to drive hardware growth across Sky’s Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product and Propositions teams
  • Negotiate annual contracts & quarterly deals with hardware partners, covering funding, wholesale pricing, NPI allocation and stock management to support Sky’s growth ambition
  • Lead the preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews with our key hardware partners

What you'll bring:

  • Delivery Experience: Proven track record in prior GTM, partner management or commercial roles. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, leading multiple high-profile projects at once, project managing activities across teams, identifying potential risks and dependencies
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to build collaborative relationships with Director-Level stakeholders across complex organisations and external partners to drive effective results
  • Commercial Savvy: Analytical expertise in modelling commercial business cases and analysing performance, ideally including experience of negotiating with external partners
  • Problem Solving: Combining longer term strategic thinking with practical judgement to break down problems and formulate plans to deliver against organisational objectives
  • Clear Communication: Confident communicator, able to simplify complex messages and adapt style to different audiences, and prepare executive-level updates and presentations
  • People Leadership: Ability to set clear direction and lead by example, managing delivery through others while supporting team members to develop their skills and capabilities

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

We'd love to hear from you

Inventive, forward-thinking minds come together to work in Tech, Product and Data at Sky. It’s a place where you can explore what if, how far, and what next.

But better doesn’t stop at what we do, it’s how we do it, too. We embrace each other’s differences. We support our community and contribute to a sustainable future for our business and the planet.

If you believe in better, we’ll back you all the way.

Just so you know: if your application is successful, we’ll ask you to complete a criminal record check. And depending on the role you have applied for and the nature of any convictions you may have, we might have to withdraw the offer.
