Role: Head of Financial Planning & Analysis
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Location: London Paddington Tuesday-Thursday. Remote working Monday & Friday.

What We’re Looking For:We’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Head of FP&A to serve as a pivotal leader within the senior finance team. This person will lead proactive, data-driven financial planning across the organisation, owning the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycle while providing clear commercial insight to support confident decision-making and sustainable growth.
RequirementsHow You’ll Make an Impact:
Strategic Financial Planning
- Own and drive a best-in-class planning and forecasting function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insights.
- Lead the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast processes across all UK and US business units.
- Provide challenge and independent perspective on strategic initiatives and investment proposals.
Management Reporting & Business Partnering
- Produce comprehensive monthly board packs that clearly analyse actual performance against plans and forecasts, highlighting key trends and data-driven recommendations.
- Lead monthly business and performance reviews with senior leaders, partnering with them to evaluate variances, track cross-functional metrics, and enforce accountability against agreed targets.
- Partner closely with departmental heads and the Executive Leadership Team to manage costs, optimise performance, and successfully achieve strategic initiatives.
Commercial Partnering
- Be the dedicated financial partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial department, translating commercial strategies and expansion plans into quantitative financial outcomes.
- Review and pressure-test the commercial sales pipeline within Salesforce/CRM systems.
- Apply weighted probabilities, sales cycle analytics, and conversion metrics to optimise revenue forecasting and capacity planning.
- Evaluate, model, and sign off on all commercial proposals and complex enterprise contracts, tiered subscription models, and regional risk-sharing pricing mechanisms.
Leadership & Governance
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing FP&A and business-partnering function.
- Sit as an active, collaborative member of Kooth’s senior leadership group, championing a culture of commercial accountability, financial discipline, and strategic agility across the entire organisation.
- Advanced financial modelling and forecasting expertise, with elite Excel and Google Sheets capabilities.
- Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting experience.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets
- High proficiency in AI tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to enhance planning, reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and business value.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and business partnering capability.
- Confidence to challenge senior leaders and provide independent commercial insight.
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- High levels of adaptability, flexibility, and resilience.
- Ability to operate effectively across UK and US teams and time zones.
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage competing demands during peak planning and reporting cycles.
- Degree Level Graduate (with strong academics)
- 8 years+ Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)
- Proven track record leading FP&A or Commercial Finance teams.
- Senior FP&A Track Record (SaaS, Digital Health, Tech, High-Growth plc, or PE environment)

Compensation: The base salary for this role is £90k to £100k annually. Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including your education, experience, skills, and overall alignment with the role.
